The War
The men are happy
they do not hold their breath
however, they do not know
that they walk to their death

their mothers are happy
that they are going to war
but when they die in the trenches
the deaths of ther sons will make them sore
These are brave soldiers

and they fight when they are glad
but when they die
it is unpleasantly sad
The Weapons
All the machine guns
that fire at will

it kills the soldiers
and makes them spill
the flying grenades
in the trenches they land
the grenades explode
the slodiers are covered with wet sand
those huge metal tanks

destruction they cause
with their big firepower
it will get you if you pause
please not the poison gas
it makes you drown
too bad it wont stop
or else you could frown
Finally trench mortar
straight in the hole
these poor soldiers
their lives were stole
